In an effort to stimulate sales of new homes in the state of California, a new $10,000 tax credit is being offered to the first 10,000 people to purchase newly constructed homes beginning March 1 2009 and ending March 1 2010. This tax credit is paid in three equal installments over a three year period and is not limited to first time home buyers, it also has no income requirements.
